Kimono Dress, Cape & Scarf - Inayah | Sandals - ASOS | Bag - Tory Burch | Belt - Vero Moda

Around October 2014, before I used to wear the hijab, I came across a brand call Inayah on Instagram. I was so inspired by their collection and their interpretation of the hijab that it honestly had a huge hand in my decision to start wearing it. Back then I never thought I'd be shooting photos fully-clad in their beautiful clothes a few months later.

I picked this luxe kimono-sleeved maxi dress in this gorgeous blue hue and cinched in the waist with a nude belt. Instead of going the black belt route, this made the look more day time and went perfectly with my scarf. I'm aware that we tend to follow the safe rules of matching our shoes to our bags but in this case it would've been way too much black. A balance of both black and neutrals help keep your look more interesting and fresh.

What made me fall in love with Inayah's clothes when I received them was the fabric and the cut. Although the clothes are pricey, I understand why after wearing them. The fabric falls in a way that keeps you feeling comfortable and modest, but elegant at the same time. So if you're looking for  a piece to wear regularly like a cape or cardigan then I'd suggest buying those timeless pieces from Inayah, as the quality of the fabric and the classic cuts will make them last for years to come.
