Top & Belt - Forever 21 | Pants - Boohoo | Sleeveless Blazer - StalkBuyLove | Heels - Zara | Bag - Mango (old)

Although I've never been a black person, I'm definitely being driven more towards the shade. It obviously has to do with its classic sensibility and the colour-cut process I've been making my wardrobe go through. I'm starting to be a lot more selective with what I wear, in terms of whether I'll still see the outfit I was wearing a year ago as classic chic or gone with the trend.

Sleeveless blazers are the perfect alternative for cities with Bombay-like weather and this one from StalkBuyLove has been cut perfectly. What I find better about sleeveless blazers is that they're much longer in length compared to a normal blazer, providing a lot more modesty but never compromising on style.

Want to work the wide-legged pants but afraid to take off your good old blue jeans? Start off with a pair of basic black trousers that fit you just right on the waist. Be cautious of any pockets or pleat detailing as this could make your hips look bigger and add more attention to that area. Play with textures and colours if that's your thing. If you do it right, it can make your legs look a mile long.
