Mid-2015 saw comfort-dressing slowly take over my life, which wasn't a huge surprise since it was Normcore's year. I never thought I would be in a constant search for baggy turtlenecks and sneakers, something I'll well on be wearing in the new year. I have a feeling this won't be changing any time soon, the same way my search for the perfect nude lipstick is never-ending.

Although Mumbai doesn't exactly have a winter, there's a nip in the air in the mornings which was perfect for this light sweatshirt and leather skirt combo. Although I walk half a pace slower in this skirt, it was completely worth finding a maxi skirt with no slits or sheer panels.

Reflecting upon the past year, I realised that living in a busy city and not having hours to think of my daily outfits has led to me dressing way more practically. I can't even recall the last time I wore heels (or even bought them for that matter) in place of my beloved sneakers or pointed toe flats. Here's to hoping comfort dressing remains in the fashion books for years to come.
